First European Golf Bridge

In June, just before the peak of the golf season, the first European Golf Bridge was installed at the Delfland Golf course in Delft (the Netherlands). The bridge is 24’ (7,40m) long and was installed to replace a timber bridge that while only 5 years old, showed considerable wear and it would have been too costly to refurbish it. Instead the choice was made for maintenance Golf Bridge. Installing the bridge was done straight from the lorry and took 5 minutes, to the great enjoyment of the general manager as this minimized disruption to his premises.
